All of our staff is thoroughly checked through their employment history and references to ensure their suitably for the position. They are then trained in all areas of domestic cleaning before attending your property to ensure that we provide a quality service for all our clients. We promote honesty and reliability to all our cleaners and quality control procedures are in place within our company to maintain these qualities at all times.
At the induction briefing these qualities are stressed thoroughly and quality control procedures are in place to ensure that the cleaners operate in a reliable and honest manner.
We also check the references that are provided to ensure that the cleaners have a proven employment record. We DO NOT introduce cleaners who cannot provide us with satisfactory references.
Yes, in most cases it is possible to specify the day your cleaner attends.
FK Domestics makes every effort to meet the requirements of prospective clients.
You pay the cleaner the fee arranged by yourself and our office. The cleaner should be paid direct in cash or bank transfer at the end of each session worked. Our cleaning company commission is payable by the client monthly by standing order. Any tips or bonuses are paid directly to the cleaner.
FK Domestics considers every client as a valuable customer. Our domestic cleaners are vetted for reliability and we try to ensure that you are never dissatisfied. Occasionally, events may occur which are beyond our control and we may have to substitute your cleaner, temporarily or permanently.
Please call us as soon as possible if you are dissatisfied and we will do our utmost to ensure the mistake is rectified and never repeated.
All of our cleaners have public liability insurance to protect your home from any accidental damage. If you would like to know more, read our Terms.
We endeavour to meet all requests as soon as possible and we will respond to all queries within 24 hours. Time, location and work-load all have an influence on the ability to supply a cleaner but in most cases we will have someone available within 24 hours.

Our policy is a two and half hours minimum per week or three hours per fortnight for regular domestic cleaning. This is to ensure that travel and other expenses remain in proportion to the cleaners’ wages.
Yes.
We understand that it is preferable to have the same cleaner every week and under normal circumstances, this would be the case.

Our cleaners use their own or public transport to make appointments.
