Green dry cleaner opens
Chester householders now have access to an eco-friendly dry cleaning facility.
Domestic cleaners looking to get their laundry washed while caring for the environment can visit the town's Johnson's branch.
The company recently opened the new outlet that uses an innovative system to get laundry clean, the Evening Leader reports.
Called GreenEarth, the technology uses liquid silicon derived from sand to effectively remove stains from clothing.
No harsh chemicals are produced by the process, which is offered at the same price as traditional dry-cleaning services.
Hazel Wood-Brignall, manager at the outlet, explained that the innovative cleaning technique is likely to prove popular with householders.
"There's a real feeling of excitement about the launch of our 516th store because it will be like no other," she told the paper.
A recent Pledge poll showed that 73 per cent of domestic cleaners multi-task when completing their chores in order to save time.
