More landlords could need home cleaning services
A growing number of UK-based landlords could require home cleaning services, as confidence in the private rented sector is rising.
According to a survey conducted by Paragon Mortgages, more investors are looking to increase the number of properties in their portfolios in 2012.
More than one in five landlords who took part in the poll said they would buy more houses or flats in the next 12 months, while just eight per cent were looking to sell their abodes.
Home cleaning specialists employed by professional landlords are more likely to find themselves deployed to a terraced house, as this type of property proved the most favourable, with 65 per cent of respondents owning at least one.
A further 58 per cent said they owned a flat, while 48 per cent possessed a semi-detached house.
"I am pleased to see that landlords are expecting to add to their portfolios as there is no sign that tenant demand is going to slow in 2012," commented managing director at Paragon Mortgages John Heron.
Home cleaning service providers may also experience increased business from owners of derelict city centre buildings, which are being increasingly turned into student accommodation, FreshStart Living recently suggested.
