Firm launches eco-friendly carpet cleaning solution
People looking for products to undertake carpet cleaning may find a new environmentally-friendly solution useful.
Vitec Global has revealed details of its Max Germ Guard range, which it has claimed is capable of revolutionising the way domestic cleaning is completed.
Indeed, bosses have suggested the company's Fibre Shield offering has the potential to go even further than this, as it is likely to be snapped up by people who work in schools, offices and the medical sector.
It is a water-based fluid, which is odourless and colourless, while also possessing impressive green credentials.
The ingredients used in the substance work in such a way that they form covalent bonds that attach themselves to the fibres in a carpet, making it stay clean for longer.
Vitec Global managing director Chris Lomas has high hopes for the product in the carpet and upholstery cleaning fields.
"It's gentle and kind to people and the environment, yet it's a powerful deterrent against microbial action and it's cost effective with a very long lasting influence too," he commented.
Recently, aircraft detailing business Aero stated that water should be used after shampooing a carpet in order to prevent dirt getting stuck in the suds.
