High-rise cleaners 'enjoy success' - 29/09/2009
Cleaners in China are offering a unique
window cleaning service to local offices.
China Daily reports that there has been a demand in office
window cleaning services that include cleaning the outside of tall buildings.
The Spiderman-style cleaners have been spotted moving up and down wires outside a skyscraper close to the Beijing World Trade Center, as they remove the dust and dirt from office windows.
"We have been busy for two months," explained Jia Yuecheng, manager of Beijing's Xibeilong Cleaning Co Ltd.
"We have had to work every day recently, while ordinarily we work only 20 days in a month," he added.
The director also explained that the company has seen a surge in business from smaller offices that do not usually require office
window cleaning services but China's forthcoming National Day is encouraging some firms to smarten up their premises.
Craig Grella, writing for Examiner.com, explained that a comprehensive office cleaning regime at least once a year can help to boost performance in the workplace.
Any company in need of a
